James Brindley School is a small academy special school in Birmingham for boys and girls aged 2 to 19. It has nursery, sixth-form and special-class provision. Ofsted rated it Good at its last full inspection (2017), a rating now more than nine years old.

The school says it is part of Think Differently Education Trust and operates across 11 centres, including Dovedale, Northfield and Parkway teaching centres, hospital centres and home teaching. It describes a safe, inclusive and nurturing approach, with a pupil-centred holistic curriculum and a vision of helping young people overcome barriers.
