Liverpool College is a large Church of England all-through academy in Liverpool, teaching boys and girls aged 4 to 19. It has boarding and a sixth form. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding in December 2019, now an older rating.
The school says it was founded in 1840 and describes its mission as Learning with Character. It highlights the LCA+ curriculum, made up of seven academic and subject strands and seven personal and social development strands, and frames its work around educating the whole person.
