Riverside School is a large non-selective secondary free school in Barking, within Barking and Dagenham, teaching mixed pupils aged 11 to 19 with a sixth form. Ofsted rated it Outstanding in November 2022.
The school describes itself as large but with a caring and friendly atmosphere, where each student is known through a form group and tutor. It says parents receive regular progress information, and students can use a supervised Homework Club during breaks and after school.
