West End Academy is a sponsor-led academy primary school in Pontefract, Wakefield, teaching boys and girls aged 3 to 11 with nursery classes. It is a small primary, serving around 190 pupils. Ofsted rated it Good at its last full inspection (2015).
The school describes a rich and diverse curriculum intended to engage, challenge and inspire pupils, and says it joined the Waterton Academy Trust in July 2018. It also describes opportunities for children to work with others across the trust family of schools.
