The Halifax Academy is a large mixed all-through academy in Halifax, Calderdale, for pupils aged 4 to 16. It is non-selective, and Ofsted rated it Good in August 2023. At GCSE, Attainment 8 was 44.1 and 32.2% achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.
The school describes a focus on identity, independence, self-esteem and self-worth, alongside creativity, imagination and positive relationships. It says its curriculum is built around three tenets: Heart, Mind, Connect, with wellbeing placed at the centre of school culture.
