Lord Derby Academy is a large non-selective sponsor-led secondary academy in Liverpool, within Knowsley, teaching boys and girls aged 11 to 16. Ofsted rated the school Good in September 2023; GCSE Attainment 8 was 39.9, with 27.5% achieving grade 5 or above in English and maths.

The school describes a traditional approach to education, an ethos of care and aspiration, and a progressive learning environment in a caring community. It says it is part of The Dean Trust, whose motto is Believe, Achieve, Succeed, and highlights enrichment, a house system and pupil parliament.
