Severndale Specialist Academy is a large mixed specialist academy in Shrewsbury, teaching children and young people aged 2 to 19. It has nursery and sixth-form provision, special classes, and provision across a wide range of needs including autism, sensory impairment, physical disability and learning difficulties. Its most recent Ofsted inspection (2024) did not give an overall grade.
The school describes itself as part of the Learning Community Trust, with a vision of enabling communication, independence and enjoyment for life, and says its provision operates across Monkmoor, Mary Webb and Futures locations.
