Madani Academy is a small selective independent school in Portsmouth for mixed pupils aged 5 to 16. It has a Muslim religious ethos and serves an urban community near a major town or city. Ofsted rated the school Good in December 2023, and recorded independent-school standards as met.
The school says it is the first Muslim faith school in Portsmouth, opened as Madani Academy Primary School in September 2014, and later gained DfE permission in July 2021 to extend into secondary provision. It describes a nurturing and safe environment enriched by Islamic ethos.
