Finch Woods Academy is a mixed special academy in Knowsley, Liverpool, teaching pupils aged 9 to 16. It has provision for social, emotional and mental health needs and around 80 pupils. Ofsted judged the school Inadequate in December 2023.
The school says it serves pupils from across Knowsley and neighbouring boroughs, many after significant educational difficulty, non-attendance, exclusions or disengagement. It describes personalised care, support towards qualifications and social skills, plus careers education, work experience and vocational learning.
