Walney School is a non-selective mixed secondary academy in Barrow-in-Furness, Westmorland and Furness, teaching students aged 11 to 16. It has around 520 pupils. Ofsted judged the school Requires improvement in May 2022.
The school says its vision is for every child to feel safe, supported and included, with a focus on belonging, relationships, character and community. It also describes work with Furness Education Trust on building works, facilities and its teaching team.
