Swarthmore Education Centre is a mixed special post-16 institution in Leeds for learners aged 16 to 25. It is an urban education centre within Leeds local authority. The centre says its main aim is to encourage people who want to learn but may feel uncomfortable in more formal educational institutions.
It describes a wide range of courses and workshops, community projects, exhibitions, room hire, a cafe and a Hardship Fund, and says it was founded by Quaker members in 1909.
