Riverbank School is a sponsor-led special academy in Coventry for boys and girls aged 11 to 19. It has a sixth form and serves a secondary-age and post-16 specialist community. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding at its last full inspection in June 2017.
The school says Riverbank was formerly Alice Stevens, joined Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust in 2015 and was renamed Riverbank Academy. It describes a carefully planned curriculum focused on independence and employment-based skills, and says its population now includes profound and complex, severe and moderate learning needs.
