Great Oaks School is a mixed special academy in Southampton for young people aged 11 to 19. It has a sixth form and broad SEN provision, including autism, speech and language needs, sensory impairments, physical disability and severe or profound learning difficulties. Ofsted rated the school Outstanding in January 2024.
The school says its curriculum emphasises communication, literacy, numeracy, personal and social skills, creativity and the arts. It also describes a Great Oaks Guarantee of 13 extra-curricular opportunities, specialist facilities including sensory rooms, IT suites, a sports hall and theatre, and provision across three locations.
