Pivot Academy is a mixed independent special school in Huddersfield, Kirklees, for pupils aged 7 to 18, with a sixth form. Ofsted rated it Requires improvement in July 2022 and found the independent school standards met; an ISI inspection in July 2025 found standards, including safeguarding, met.
The school describes Pivot as specialist independent provision for neurodiverse learners with complex social, emotional and mental health needs and other associated learning needs. It says the curriculum develops the whole learner by working with pupils' interests to engage them in education and adulthood.
