Plymouth High School for Girls is a selective secondary academy in Plymouth, teaching around 800 girls aged 11 to 18 with a sixth form. At its last full inspection (2011), Ofsted rated the school Good.
The school says it is a long-established city selective school and celebrated its 150th birthday in 2024. It links its motto, Non scholae sed vitae discimus, to its founding in 1874, and describes itself as an accredited Thinking School working with the University of Exeter and the Thinking Schools Academy Trust.
