Its provision includes autism, physical disability, severe learning difficulty and profound and multiple learning difficulty. Ofsted rated it Outstanding at its last full inspection (2013).

The school says it is part of Amethyst Academies Trust and describes specialist facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, rebound therapy pod, soft play area, accessible outdoor play and a woodland walk. It also says its curriculum is personalised around communication, self-confidence and independence, with close work between families and health, care and therapy professionals.
