Sladewood Academy is a special free school in Stroud, Gloucestershire, teaching around 55 children aged 4 to 11. It has special classes and SEN provision spanning hearing impairment, speech, language and communication needs, autism, multi-sensory impairment and moderate learning difficulty.

The school describes an ethos of belonging under the phrase Together We Will Thrive. It says it specialises in complex autism and communication and interaction difficulties, uses a total communication approach including visual supports, signing, gestures, objects of reference and assistive technology, and organises learning through named pathways.
