Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School is a selective mixed secondary academy in Rossendale, Lancashire, teaching students aged 11 to 18. It has a sixth form and around 1,055 pupils. Ofsted rated the school Inadequate in September 2022.
The school says it traces its history to Newchurch Grammar School, founded in 1703, and to BRGS on its current site in 1913. It describes the vision "Nurturing today's young people, inspiring tomorrow's leaders" and STAR values of service, teamwork, ambition and respect.
