Clifton Hill School is a special academy in Caterham, Surrey, teaching around 80 boys and girls aged 11 to 19. It has a sixth form, special classes and SEN provision for autistic spectrum disorder, severe learning difficulty and profound and multiple learning difficulty. The school describes itself as a special school for young people with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, many with additional diagnoses and complex needs, and says independence, preparation for adulthood, communication skills and community-based learning are central to its curriculum.
