The Apex Academy is an independent special school in East Hartford, Northumberland, taking boys and girls aged 11 to 16, with around 50 places.
The school says its vision, mission and values are inspired by the Nolan Principles, and that its proprietors bring four decades of education experience between them. It describes its headteacher, Amran Suleman, as a leader with deep experience across special educational needs, social, emotional and mental health, and autism settings, and states its ambition as a safe, aspirational and inclusive school supporting young people in the region to achieve their potential.
