Thornton Grove Academy is a mixed primary academy in Hailsham, East Sussex, teaching children aged 3 to 11. It has nursery classes and places for around 210 pupils, and is a sponsored academy run within a multi-academy trust.
The school says it is committed to a safe, stimulating and intellectually challenging environment in which every pupil is supported to achieve their potential. It describes weekly Celebration Assemblies that formally recognise achievements in and beyond the classroom, and a Pupil Parliament that meets regularly with the headteacher, senior leaders and governors — with pupil voice encouraged from Early Years through to Year 6.
