Bowburn Primary School is a mixed primary academy in Bowburn, County Durham, taking children from age 2 to 11, with nursery classes and places for around 540 pupils.
The school says it was formed in September 2019 from the amalgamation of Bowburn Infants and Nursery School and Bowburn Junior School, and that in April 2021 it moved into a new, purpose-built school building. It describes itself as a welcoming, happy and caring school that places a high emphasis on sport and PE, makes learning fun, and treats parents as valued members of the school community.
