Sutherland House School Braithwell is an independent special school in a village setting near Doncaster, registered for up to 33 pupils aged 5 to 19.
The school is run by Autism East Midlands, which says it has provided specialist education for autistic children and young people since 1968 and opened the first Sutherland House School in 1970, with Braithwell its second school. It describes itself as serving autistic students within commuting distance of Doncaster, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Rotherham and Sheffield, with admissions made through local-authority referral for children who have an autism diagnosis and an Education, Health and Care Plan.
